General Terms and Conditions for Training Events Conducted by Glevia GmbH

- 1. Registration
- 1.1 Please register for any training events via our website, glevia.ch.
- 1.2 You will receive written confirmation of registration from us with detailed information on the course for which you have registered (venue, date, and time of events) no later than 14 days prior to the start of the course.
- 1.3 We reserve the right to cancel the course no later than 14 days prior to its start if the number of confirmed registrations is insufficient.
- 2. Fees
All fees are net fees, This means that they are subject to value-added tax. The fees for courses conducted by Glevia GmbH cover the use of training systems, beverages and/or lunch and participant kits.
- 3. Cancellations
- 3.1. Cancellations must be submitted to us in electronic form at the address courses@glevia.ch. A ticket number will be assigned to the cancellation process.
- 3.2. If we receive notice of cancellation 14 days prior to the start of the course, we will issue a digital coupon with a code for the exact value of the cancelled course. This can be applied for any future course.
- 3.3. If we receive notice of cancellation up to 7 days prior to the start of the course, a cancellation charge of 50% of the tuition fees is due. A coupon will be issued with a code and a value corresponding to 50% of the cost of the course originally booked and paid for.
- 3.4. If we receive notice of cancellations less than 7 days prior to the start of the course, no coupon or reimbursement will be issued. You are free to name a replacement rather than cancel attendance altogether.
- 3.5. In the event that we cancel a course or exam because of force majeure or other unforeseeable circumstances (for example, in case of accident or illness of the instructor) the liability of Glevia GmbH is limited to the refunding of course fees to participants who have arrived at the training location. The Company is not liable for any travel and lodging expenses.
- 3.6. If a participant fails to attend on the registered date due to illness or an accident, a coupon for the value of the course, minus the expenses incurred for the training location and costs will be issued, upon submission of a medical certificate.
- 4. Deviating terms and conditions apply to private courses
- 4.1 Private courses are those which meet at least one of the following criteria:
- The course content was designed specifically to the client's requirements;
- The course is held for a closed group of participants;
- The course takes place on the client's premises or as an in-house seminar on the premises of the Organizer.
- 4.2 The cancellation costs mentioned under 3.2 do not apply to private courses. Free cancellations are possible until 21 days before the start of class. Afterwards, the cancellation charge is 100% of the course fee, unless stated differently in the offer discussed with and accepted by the customer.
- 4.1 Private courses are those which meet at least one of the following criteria:
- 5. Re-registration
- 5.1 Re-registration is possible through the use of coupons generated by Glevia GmbH, as per rules stated in section 3. Coupons have specific monetary value or discount value, and can be used to register for any training organised by Glevia GmbH. If the value of the coupon does not cover the total costs of a training or service, a separate payment will be required.
- 6. Terms of Payment
The quoted prices are subject to statutory sales tax and are payable immediately without deductions on receipt of invoice.
- 7. Warranty
Glevia GmbH offers you the highest quality training in the field of high-end networking. If you are not fully satisfied during the first day of training, simply let your coach know and return the unused course documents. You will be refunded the course fees in full.
- 8. Copyrights
All rights reserved, including the rights to translate, reprint, and copy training documents and parts thereof. Processing, copying, distributing, or public rendering of training documents in whole or in part in any form or by any means electronic, mechanical, photocopying, microfiche, recording or otherwise without our prior written consent is prohibited. This applies in particular to use of these materials for training purposes.
- 9. Liability
Any liability for claims against Glevia GmbH or its vicarious agents, in particular, claims of compensation for consequential damages, irrespective of legal foundation, such as business interruption or stoppage, loss of earnings or profits, data loss, and so forth, are excluded. Glevia GmbH is not liable for any belongings that the customer brings to a course.
- 10. Privacy
The customer agrees to the processing of his data solely for the purpose of which it is appointed to serve.
